What do you get when you mix a writer, a web specialist, a content editor, and a CMS wizard? Me! I thrive on amazing storytelling and helping people solve problems by meeting them where they’re at. Looking to my next career move, I want to work with professionals I can trust and learn from, and most importantly, I’d like to work in a healthy environment that appreciates my skills and offers avenues for growth.
I’m open to full time opportunities as well as part time work and side projects; I have a trade license valid in the Czech Republic, and am currently applying for permanent residency.
When I’m not working, pursuing side projects, or getting caught up in the allure of a new book, I can be found traveling, experimenting with food, or teaching myself a new language. And always, always searching for new stories.

On-campus resource to students looking to study abroad. I’m there not only to promote CEA, but also study abroad in general, providing education and insight into the process of applying and living abroad. Social media outreach, blog posts, in-person study abroad fairs, and classroom presentations are all part of this position.
Part of my duties were greeting and recommending books to customers in person or online via social media in their native languages (German, French, Czech, or English). I translated and wrote newsletters and book reviews for the site, as well as prepared the layout and graphic design for online and paper advertisements. Of course, there were basic shop tasks like working the register, preparing the shop for events, and adding store window displays.
I made a series of blog posts and videos detailing the ins and outs of my internship during my time abroad, published on CEA’s site and featured in their social media. I also made weekly social media posts about life in Prague. Both resources have been instrumental in recruiting students and getting them interested in and excited about going abroad, as well as pursuing international work experience.
My position was instrumental in helping potential new students make a college admission decision – I needed to provide as much information as possible while still showing the college at its best potential. I gave individual, group tours, and worked special admissions events. Thanks to my team, we greatly increased enrollment levels, while other universities in the area saw a decrease in numbers. I also have done basic office tasks like preparing welcome packets for events, giving directions to people coming into the office, answering phones, and working closely with the admissions counselors and giving feedback to ensure the best experience for upcoming events.
I was a student-teacher liaison during a required one-semester class for first-year students. This involves direct engagement with students: I addressed questions regarding all aspects of college life. I planned various lessons, neighborhood tours, and events in order to help the students better integrate into their new culture and environment.
